2007年秋天Timbaland将《Apologize》这首由乐团主音Ryan Tedder作曲及填词的单曲重新混音过（该版本与原版都收录在《勇敢梦》当中）并收录在他的三次白金（出售量多于三百万）专辑《Timbaland Presents: Shock Value》中， 全球售出五百万多张，造成大轰动。在2007年11月《Apologize》成为在英置单曲排行榜上排第三。另外在美国成为电台最高播放率的歌，一星期约有10,331次。另外，《Apologize》 的高播放率的位置维持了5个月后，这个纪录被同是乐团主音所写及制作的 《Bleeding Love》 打破。
